Most people see the finished van. What’s harder to show is what a normal day in the workshop looks like.
Making sure the right materials are in stock, with availability and prices changing daily. Coordinating timelines so a build doesn’t stall because something isn’t ready. Overlapping jobs carefully so everyone’s working to their strengths at the right time.
A small workshop and small team means there’s no slack in that - when something slips, everything feels it.
It’s the kind of juggle that’s hard to explain from the outside. The physical work is one thing, but it’s the thinking that takes up most of the space - what decisions need to be made today so something else isn’t held up next week.
It’s a lot of moving parts. But when it works, it’s our version of a good day.
