This week’s transformation is a perfect example of how an accessible bathroom doesn’t always mean ripping everything out and starting again.

Our customer was happy with the majority of their existing bathroom, so we focused on adapting only what was necessary to make bathing safer, easier and more comfortable. By removing the bath and installing a low-level shower, we were able to significantly improve accessibility whilst keeping disruption and costs to a minimum.

We recently had the pleasure of visiting Richard and Julia and hearing first-hand about their experience with their new wet room. Such genuinely lovely people, and it was great to see how this transformation will make life easier and more comfortable for them moving forward.

Another fantastic bathroom transformation completed by the team at AJT Showers Ltd!

Our customer wanted to update their existing bathroom into a modern, stylish and low-maintenance space whilst ensuring it remained practical and safe for everyday use.

One of the key requirements was having support on both sides of the walk-in shower. Rather than installing a traditional glass shower screen, we designed and built a false wall, which allowed us to securely install grab rails exactly where they were needed. An added benefit of this approach was that we could incorporate a sleek recessed shower niche, providing convenient storage for toiletries without cluttering the shower area.

The finished result is a bright, contemporary bathroom that not only looks fantastic but is also designed with comfort, practicality and future usability in mind.
