🌿 We’re Hiring – Grounds Maintenance Operative 🌿

JPS Grounds Maintenance Ltd is looking for a reliable and experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our growing team.

This is a temp-to-perm position starting at 5 days per week, working across Derby and surrounding areas maintaining outdoor spaces for both residential and commercial sites.

Pay rate - National minimum wage for age.

Key Responsibilities
• General grounds maintenance (w**ding, tidying, litter picking)
• Watering planters and landscaped areas (training provided)
• Driving company vehicles to and from job sites
• Reporting site issues or feedback to the supervisor
• Assisting with other grounds maintenance tasks as required

Requirements
• Previous grounds maintenance or gardening experience
• Full clean UK driving licence (required)
• Must be confident towing a trailer
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently once trained
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Good physical stamina and practical mindset
• Experience working on commercial maintenance contracts

Desirable (not essential)
• Relevant horticultural or grounds maintenance certifications

Working Hours
• Monday to Friday
• Some flexibility may be required depending on site needs
• No evening or weekend work currently required
