ECHIUM PINK FOUNTAIN
Bearing an enormous tapering spike of delicate pink flowers, Echium 'Pink Fountainβ is a hybrid between red-flowered Echium wildpretii and blue-flowered Echium pininana. Biennial, it spends its first year growing an attractive rosette of large, grey-green leaves, before sending up its flower spike in its second, or even third year. Like all echiums, its blooms are a magnet for bees and other pollinators.
