To all .... before I medically have to retire this Xmas and hand the business over to another great decorator I would like to take this opportunity to say something that I couldn't for all these years...
Thanks to everyone who didn't call me to come back and collect my tools/coats,hats etc when I'v not realised I had left them in your home !

Cheers for that! ... I'm assuming you all thought that i was minted and that they wouldnt and didnt cost me a single penny to replace !!!

I've dragged the van🚐 from the back of Huyton to Sefton industrial estate (maghull) with no back brakes so this mechanic🦾🦿🛠🔧 can start work on it today (hopefully)...!

This last week has been a living nightmare!😨😱😨
I was stranded outside a customers house🏠 since Tuesday. 6 mobile mechanics let me down , 2 mates came out to try and help 🆘️🆘️with no success.😥 (thanks Robbin T Watts 👍and Ste Outdoors 👍for all your effort )..👍👍👍.
To top it all off I was not only broken down on a hill🏔⛰️ (imagine trying to sleep in a bed on a slope without rolling out of it) but my diesel heater 🔥🔥🔥went and took the knock💥💥 on the 1st night of the freeze!🥶🥶🥶I then had to scramble around to find shops with cans of butane gas for my camping⛺️ stove 🔥🔥🔥and small camping heater.🔥🔥🔥
I'm just praying🙏🙏 I can be back on the road so I can get back to work and my diary doesn't get mangled in this Christmas🎄🎄🎄 rush.

Lee Gough New .. do a mate a favour please lad...bring that spare part diesel heater up to me kid so I can fix this and defrost my bollox!

Van has broken down, no brakes...then diesel heater goes and takes the knock..

Mechanics are all fully booked up so I'm struggling to get back on the road.

Im sat here outside my customers house trying to thaw my plums out with a tiny portable gas heater whilst wrecking my head in hope of finding somebody who can fix the brakes...
..it never rains it just pours....and then freezes!

I'm gonna be 100% honest with people..and dont you lot start ....
I had a massive "bipolar" mental breakdown on Friday in a friend's house whilst painting her lounge.
Good job it was a family friend and not a stranger that it happened in front of.
She and her husband took care of me the whole weekend where we made a plan to get all the right help I need to go forward with my whole life.
I'm feeling ok(ish) and want you all to know that I'm going to be doing a lot to fix me from now on.

Today I'm taking a day off from work to call my doctors to book every appointment available with him, my mental health team and my muscular skeletal team.

I'm going to be completing what work I have booked in my diary and then I'm going to be finishing work very soon...I've already got a friend helping me go through the transition from work to the benefit system and I have a great circle of support from my family and close friends to take me through this major change in my life..
I just want to take this opportunity to explain to you all why you will all be seeing me finishing up my job at xmas and why I'll be going offline in the near future.

To those who have bookings with me DO NOT WORRY....your work will be done!!!...and I'm feeling OK to do it!
I'm just not taking any more new work on from now! Once your pre xmas jobs are done I'm finished...hopefully I can find somebody just as good as me to take my business off my hands and continue all your work for you in the new year and further on.
I have a plan and I'm confident that it's going to work....but for now...let's get Xmas out of the way.

Ive Literally just took the last few bookings for pre Xmas work (1 job pending confirmation but is highly likely to book)......I might be able to squeeze a '2 or 3 roll wallpaper job' in here and there of an evening but theres no chance for any big wallpaper jobs or any paint jobs of any description....I have for years asked you all to get your pre Xmas bookings in early.

Once again I'm sorry to those who have missed out.
