Jeez what a ton of work.

This Japanese RE-201 came in needing a service.

•Changed the power cord to an American one and changed it over to 120V power.
•Fully recapped
•Tape mech serviced
•Noisy transistors replaced
•Pots and jack sockets cleaned.

Replacing the toggle switch on the EHX Superego for made it work again.

I had to assemble a 'new' switch from the bass of the original and the toggle of a new one.

Repair on this Ashdown Mag 300 for District

Pretty common for these to die after 15-20 years or so of use.

The speakers had failed in this which had taken out the filter caps, power board traces, and a few other components too.

Replacing them brought it back into the land of the living.
