ROAD Studios is an independent collective of artists working in a number of disciplines.

Set in the creative hub of the Carlisle building on Victoria St, ROAD Studios takes its residence in a large studio spaces spread across a bright and colourful loft space.

So we now that we are well away of any association with Crimbo and New Years here's a look at the opening night of our 10th/11th year anniversary show! (2020 didn't count)

So with all the hecticness of life has just realised that it's been our 10 year (actually 11) anniversary!

Not many art studios reach this milestone, so we've decided it deserves a celebration! The ever amazing has provided us with the venue and our dicennial exhibition will take place this Friday 15th December from 5pm!

Expect an exciting show with artists from through out the last years showcasing a wide array of work that's not to be missed!

ROAD Studios is slowly pulling itself out of its lazy hibernation by hosting a good old fashioned Drink & Draw!

If you haven't been to a drink and draw before it's a casual get together over a pint and a doodle. Everyone is welcome and it's a weekday so there's no pressure to drink if you're not feeling it. Just bring your drawing tools and paper!

We'll be meeting Tuesday 18th July, 6pm at Ye Cracke and we'll be in the Beer Garden or a booth weather depending. We'll cya there!

Seeing as it's Halloween eve it feels appropriate to announce the next attempt of the cursed show 'Is This It?' Featuring ROAD member who's exploring the unimaginable void of space and what that means to us with John Elcock and in . 'Is This It?' is a show that takes on the limits of physics, metaphysics and questions of scale.
