Do you buy real, or artificial plants? 🪴

Plants - real or not, are so uplifting when it comes to interiors. They are not just pleasing on the eye, but real plants can offer a multitude of health, mood and wellbeing benefits too 💚.

The green corner in our home is taking shape .
We have never been great at looking after indoor plants, so have usually opted for faux imitations in the past. My husband is now committed to keeping these real plants happy, so hopefully this new collection will thrive and flourish for years to come ☺️.

The plants are from various places.
The wood stand and many of the plant pots are from TK Maxx and Homesense 👍

We loved viewing this fabulous art exhibition by local school children whilst on holiday in Almeria, Spain 🤩.

After a walk in the hot sun from the hotel, to Castillo de Santa Ana in Roquetas de Mar, the kids were relieved to reach the castle. There is a lovely air conditioning art gallery inside which was great for some shade and a cool down, but mostly to enjoy the paintings and photography of the surrounding area throughout time 🖼️.

Luckily, we visited on a day when this particular exhibition was on, displaying children's fun versions of various famous art pieces, using popular characters. This was a great unexpected activity for the day and the kids really enjoyed it ❤️.

The castle is beautiful too 🏰.

Room makeover in progress ⚙️.

My customer Jaine's new Living/Dining and Kitchen interior decor is underway and it's looking fabulous so far 💙...

Jaine is delighted and is so excited for the completion. She is just adding the finishing touches and awaiting the arrival of a few more furniture pieces they have ordered. Jaine says that she never thought her home could look like this! 🥰

Most 'New Build' homes are bought as blank canvas's, when interior design is concerned. Once built, the insides are painted white, ready for sale, and for the new owners to put their own stamp on the decor ✴️.

However the typical new build interior minimal style is something I find buyers can struggle to stray from. It can be hard to envisage a truly unique interior design, when so many new properties begin life looking very similar ✅

With assistance from me, these customers have given their new build house rooms a complete makeover, ensuring they truly feel like home. Reflecting the tastes and personalities of the individuals/families living in these houses was so important to achieve a unique look and distinctive feel. My customers now feel proud of the interiors of their brand new homes, and have been given confidence to try exciting things with their decor - even in new build property ❤️.

"MY NEW LIVING ROOM MAKES ME FEEL SO CALM AND RELAXED..." 🧡🤍

Nicola's beautiful Living Room has been given a modern makeover. The alcoves now have a more permanent purpose, showcasing stunning, symmetrical built-in storage and shelving. The smart, statement furniture pieces ooze style and declutter the room into a modern, airy space.

Sophisticated colours and luxurious fabrics give this room an elegant and relaxing new feel. Contemporary neutral tones adorn the walls, with a subtle burst of copper to accent it all nicely.

This is one of several rooms I have worked on with Nicola for her gorgeous Victorian home, and I am so glad she is pleased with the results.
