Horsetail (Equisetum arvense) is highly invasive, and the worst thing you can do is dig it up or pull it out, as you risk breaking the roots. Every broken root fragment left behind will simply grow into a new plant.
Due to its thick, waxy coating, this means most w**d treatments won’t work as they can’t break through its tough exterior!
However, we do offer this specialised stand-alone service as a one-off treatment for hard surfaces such as patios, pathways, , riveways, or gravel areas.
With a treatment specialised to treat horsetail, it ruptures the waxy leaf tissue and works deep into the extensive root system.

Remember, as we enter hotter weather, to water your lawn when no rainfall has occurred within the week . As a minimum, for established lawns, water twice a week, for at least 15 minutes, best done early mornings when it’s cooler, as the water evaporates less when the temperature is cooler and also avoids scorching lawns in the direct heat of the sun.
Lawns require at least 1 inch of water per week; failing to keep your lawn watered will see your lawn start to become patchy or yellow and suffer drought stress.

Whilst some hedging, such as conifers, are best left trimming now until late summer, other hedges such as privet hedges, require more frequent cutting throughout the year, especially during spring and summer. Get in touch to arrange a free no-obligation quote.

We currently have availability for new lawn treatment customers throughout most areas we cover, but are fully booked for regular grass cutting for most areas and have limited spaces left on the areas we do have space.
Lawn treatment prices start from £30 per visit.
( 4 visits annually)
Regular grass cutting prices start from £25 per visit
17 visits annually, March to Oct/Nov (fortnightly visits)
