I came across this stunning adult Grass Snake in the compost bay this morning, it was feeling itself around due to it’s eyes being cloudy, my guess is that it is due to shed its skin soon, also I noticed an old injury that has since healed towards the end of its body.

It may have been raining all day here in Snowdonia but it is so much better than the relentless heatwave that has thankfully ended, the w**ds come out better and less dust, the plants are happier and it’s cooler thank goodness.

Like most of the country last night we had a storm come over with very heavy rain, this was the morning after in Rhos and my client soil is absolutely bone dry , my neighbour laughed at me watering my own plants prior to the storm, I said yes we’re going to get rain but it’s never enough!
