Got called out today, customer was locked out. He said another so called locksmith had been there this morning.
The other locksmith looked at the cylinder, told the customer that he wouldn't be able to pick it open, but could drill it open. The 1st price quoted was£49. By the time he said he would drill it the price had gone upto £160 and an extra £40 to supply a lock.
Customer told him to leave. He called me, went up picked the lock open and changed the cylinder for him.
