What a lovely day strolling around Horatio’s Garden - Stanmore, London with the head gardener (designed by Tom Stuart Smith). Fantastically lush, woodland planting wrapped around the National Orthopaedic Unit, creating a quiet space for reflection, wellbeing and recovery! It was only marred by the 6hr delayed diverted train journey home 🙁

The acer/fern area is looking better this year than the last. I remembered to feed the acer at the right time!! It’s almost like they need to be fed!?

It’s a good job it isn’t ‘smell-o-vision’ as the second photo is of the sea as fillets frying outside so they don’t stink the kitchen out for days on end.
