Residents are reminded that there will be restrictions in place in relation to vehicle access to Taff Street while the Eisteddfod takes place.

🚘 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟑 𝐭𝐨 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟏𝟎, 𝐓𝐚𝐟𝐟 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐯𝐞𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝟗𝐚𝐦 𝐭𝐨 𝟏𝐚𝐦. Taff Street will be a pedestrian-only area during this time, with exceptions for permitted vehicles which have been prearranged with local businesses.

Those wishing to drive through Pontypridd during these times may do so using Gelliwastad Road, but we urge residents to consider using public transport, or cycling/walking where possible, while the event takes place to help reduce delays and congestion.

🚖 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐲 𝐓𝐚𝐱𝐢? The daytime Taxi Rank will be located at the top end of Taff Street outside Llys Cadwyn (Taff Vale). From 1am, the nighttime taxi rank will be located outside B&M on Taff Street.
