💡Project spotlight: Hard landscaping renovation
✅A full garden renovation completed towards the end of last year, finished over a 6 week timescale. This one was all about detail, precision, and making reclaimed materials work perfectly in a premium setting.
🔑Key elements of the build:
* Reclaimed stone slabs laid throughout (challenging due to mixed sizes and thicknesses, which was resolved by cutting each slab individually to achieve a consistent finish)
* Rendered retaining walls to shape the levels and create clean lines
* Sets and borders installed to separate spaces and define the layout
* The slabs were marked precisely where the steel columns were to be installed. They were then cored out to accommodate the columns that were then dropped into place (some serious weight to shift), ensuring that everything was level and plumb for the lean-to roof
* Heritage details, including reclaimed pillars made from chimney pots from the old castle
The customer was extremely happy with the final result, and so are we. A proper transformation and a job we are proud to put our name to.
