Happy holidays!

As we look back on 2025, we're excited to see a year of steady progress, beautiful design and buildings that are standing up, or firmly on their way.

This year, in numbers:

• 8 active construction sites
• 3 completed projects
• 5 publications
• 1 new award
• 4 listed building projects
• 12 planning applications approved,
…and many exciting projects already taking shape.

Behind each number is a client who trusted the process, a contractor who cared about the details, and countless conversations, drawings, site visits and revisions.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of the journey this year. We’re looking forward to what comes next.

Update from our EcoCocon build in Croatia:

The first wall panels are now in place, and the precision of the prefabrication is paying off.

Timber structure and compressed straw infill makes up a carbon-negative wall system with excellent thermal performance and zero synthetic insulation.

Next steps: setting the remaining perimeter panels, airtight layer installation, and preparing for the CLT roof elements.

A good day on site with sun, clean materials and steady progress.

A wall of shelves: with a difference!

At first glance this looks like a classic String shelving system, but in reality it’s a carefully considered mix of off-the-shelf vertical components and bespoke joinery. The result is more than just storage, it’s a piece of interior design that integrates the many needs of contemporary living.

Behind the minimal oak fronts sit the hidden essentials: home server and backup system, audio equipment, laptop docking, wiring, with an integrated projector screen above. The radiator remains in place by the desk to heat your feet and the space effectively. The shelves step shallower at the centre, adding visual variety now and enabling placement of a TV in the future if needed.

This is where architects and designers add value. A purely retail solution wouldn’t achieve this level of integration, and in fact, would have been almost twice the price without offering the same flexibility.

By tailoring the design, we’ve created something refined, functional and cost-effective.

Good design is not only about how things look but how they work for you, now and in years to come.

Meet Dan – our cornerstone.

Numbers, drawings, site mud; he juggles them all without missing a beat (being a jazz drummer helps).

Dan is the one who makes sure the practice runs as smoothly as the buildings we design: balancing the books, steering design reviews, and inspecting on site.

Every practice needs someone who can see both the big picture and the tiny detail, and Dan somehow does that while still cracking a smile.

“Between two kids, a dog, and a dozen deadlines, I’ve learned that time doesn’t stretch, but somehow we do.”

If architecture is equal parts dreaming and doing, Dan is the mortar that holds those worlds together.

Penthouse Renovation in Highgate

A light-filled transformation at the top of a historic Highgate building. The project introduces two new heritage-style dormers that respect the original façade, alongside large roof-lights that draw sky views deep into the plan.

At the rear a new large dormer is introduced with slimline full-width sliding doors that open onto a new roof terrace garden, with panoramic views across the London skyline – blending inside and out while celebrating the building’s elevated position.

London Fields Penthouse: Reimagined

Our proposal for the top-floor residence in London Fields addresses the rarely tackled challenge of high-rise wind exposure, while unlocking the full potential of an extraordinary space.

Working closely with the residents, we’ve designed a scheme that reduces dangerous wind speeds through planted buffers, full-height glass screens, and a new brise soleil - transforming an unusable rooftop into a sheltered outdoor room. Inside, generous new glazing, improved ventilation, and light-filled interiors combine to offer comfort, calm, and long-term adaptability.

Designed for modern living - above the city yet in tune with the climate.

It's all about bringing bright ideas to the table.

From concept to model to reality, every project starts with a great discussion. What’s your favourite part of the design process?

Weybridge House – planning approved!

We’ve secured planning approval for this home transformation and are now progressing into the technical design phase.

This project reworks a suburban home to create a more connected, light-filled, and efficient living environment, opening onto a huge garden.

We are revitalising a neglected corner building with a shop and a basement space in a Victorian terrace in Chelsea.

We're working on transforming it into a bright, sustainable, contemporary residence that thoughtfully respects its heritage.

Our design approach preserves key period features like the London stock brick and natural slate mansard roof while introducing modern elements, light wells, privacy fins, a green roof and generously sized windows, all in an effort to maximise comfort, views and available light.
