The 10th Full Moon of the year will loom over the horizon this Sunday, October 13. Labeled the Hunters Moon it is the first full moon after Septembers Harvest Moon (The full moon nearest the autumnal equinox) and will appear full from Saturday morning through Tuesday morning.

Full Moons always represent completion and fulfilment and the Hunters Moon is no different. Its name derives from hunters who track and killed their prey by autumn moonlight; stockpiling their food for the winter ahead.

This moon is in Aries and has a fiery element to it. This luminary will bring drastic change as well as transformation within relationships. It may bring up intense emotions, behaviour patterns and beliefs that are no longer of service to you. You may find that you become more cynical during this period and may give the people around you a hard time. Be mindful and don’t let your emotions get the best of you; utilise this time to make some positive changes. Let that fire inside of you to guide you instead of burning down all that comes your way. Stay conscious to the power of this celestial body and allow that light to illuminate your truth.
