Available Heritage Italian Tomato seeds Tondino Coratino from Apuglia

In Italy there are many local horticultural varieties, often unknown outside of small realities, small villages.

This tomato is one of those, grown in Corato ( Apulia ) it has interesting characteristics, both for cultivation (it survives and produces even in the presence of little water) and excellent post-harvest resistance, both hung or in a simple box, place without touching and i a environment dry.

Excellent for the sauce, of very high yield production, it should certainly be encouraged for cultivation.

Pumpkin Flat White Boer seeds

** Historical variety

An exclusive South African variety, cultivated by the ancestors of the Dutch settlers and which can be traced back to the origins thanks to the many historical remains that have remained.

It is a very flat, ribbed, delicate beauty pumpkin but with a very robust smooth white peel and an intense orange pulp.

The size is about 10-15 cm high, with a diameter of 30-50 cm.
They can grow up to 12 kg.

The flat shape makes it easy to stack them for storage. It is indeed a long-keeping pumpkin.

This was one of South Africa's favorite pumpkins and was easily available on the market at one time.

Its resistant skin protects it from sunburn in the fields, so it can be left to dry completely in the sun once the leaves are dead.

The bright orange flesh of this pumpkin is dense, fine, sweet and aromatic, with a full flavor.

It cooks well, without becoming watery like other lower quality varieties.
It is a good general-purpose pumpkin, for example to roast, mash, to make stuffings and pumpkin pies.

Like all courgettes, it loves heat, sun and lots of light.
