The brief was simple: wake up feeling like you’re already outside.
This Somerset bedroom opens straight onto its own terrace, so the first thing you see each morning is green.
Trees, sky, countryside.
We worked every decision in the room around that view: warm neutrals that let the outside speak, a black four-poster that frames it like a painting, and curtains that disappear when you want them to.
The little details matter too, the fluted oak chest, the abstract art that echoes the landscape outside, globe lighting that feels generous and calm.
This is what I mean when I say good design should make you feel something the moment you walk in.
