Design That Endures

The final look at 1 Vine Street, where every detail is considered. A curated interior shaped by context, defined by quality, and designed with intelligence that lasts beyond day one

Layered Identity

For SuperGroup, the brand extends beyond memorabilia - expressed through colour, material, and atmosphere.

A balanced palette that feels calm, natural, and distinctly theirs.

“We’re committed to delivering the innovative vision for the building, fully contributing to the quality of development on Hanover Square. To realise that vision we’ve been on a journey to figure out how to successfully bring these materials together. And we’ve done it. The mock-up is proof of concept - what we set out to do works.”

With construction works underway at 25 Hanover Square, the interior design and architectural design practice has been testing the material choices through two four-metre high 1:1 facade mock-ups. The façade design combines Corten steel and Portland limestone with nanotechnology in what’s considered a world-first.

Referencing the existing building and the Square’s historical architectural vernacular, the façade design uses limestone, coupled with pre-patinated Corten steel in homage to the red brick used throughout this part of Mayfair.

“Our design embraces the building, harmonising interiors and exteriors to create a luxurious and comfortable home that delivers moments of surprise. On first impression, the design delivers an overall elegance and simplicity, but on closer inspection, each element – from the brass inlay on the marble floor to the cabinet door handles – reveals more detail, beauty and delight.”

In the kitchen, several of the light-coloured timber cabinet doors have been custom designed to connect with the unique profile of the building façade, while the cabinets above are fronted with kiln-formed fluted glass.

Every element has been selected because it has the quality of revealing more of itself the closer you get. The organic nature of materials continues with the hand-tufted rug. Custom designed with rug manufacturer Colbourns.

Echoing the curve of the sofa, defining the lounge space as distinct from the kitchen while connecting to the terrace and views out to the water. The colours, a weaving of neutral tones with earthy shades, and unique texture build on the sense of luxurious comfort.

The master, tucked away at the end of the hallway, is exquisitely detailed yet completely practical. A pivot door creates a touch of drama, building a sense of anticipation as you enter the space.

The interplay of pattern and texture continues here, from the graphic feature wallpaper and combined fabrics on the bed’s bespoke headboard to the chalky, nuanced texture of the limewash-painted walls.

This ensuite is not a typical wet room but rather an expansion and continuation of the bedroom with the dresser, which can be used on both sides, inviting you to look past the smoked glass screen to catch glimpses of the sculptural bath and bespoke joinery that lie beyond.

There is privacy, intimacy, and a sense of connection to the bedroom as borrowed light from the window floods the entire space and frames views out into nature.
