Our Richmond project is underway! 🏡

This beautiful Victorian house in the heart of Richmond required a specialist approach after cracking reappeared in a previously repaired ceiling.

Following a structural survey, it was determined that the existing beam and supporting joists in this section required replacement. Working in accordance with the structural engineer’s recommendations, our team is now carrying out the necessary structural repairs, with the work subject to Building Control requirements.

The area has been carefully opened up and temporarily supported, allowing us to safely access the structure and prepare for the replacement works. As with every project, protecting the property is a priority, with extensive dust protection in place throughout.

Once the new structural elements are installed, the ceiling will be reinstated and seamlessly repaired, preserving the character of this beautiful Victorian home while ensuring the structure beneath is properly addressed.

Structural issues require more than a cosmetic fix. Understanding the cause and following the correct engineering solution is key to a lasting repair ✨

With Notting Hill Carnival just around the corner, we’re celebrating one of the West London neighbourhoods where we carry out so many of our projects.
