A Proposed design for a zero carbon office tower in Dubai.

This project, through its responsive Mashrabiya (facade) and Riwaq (arcade), explores the potential of re-imagining the environmental and social role of traditional building elements using their properties along with new technologies to develop new methods of construction that draw on the aesthetic and sustainable benefits of traditional buildings.

The project was nominated by the University of Manchester and Manchester Metropolitan University for the AJ sustainability Award.
