‘F-Building’ | Stoke Newington | N Family

Throwback to this new nursery we completed for N Family Club back in 2020 ⏱️

Prior to its renovation, 110 Chirch Street served as a parivate art gallery. Our design reimagined the building’s internal layout while introducing a new lightweight timber roof extension. This contemporary addition, carefully crafted to compliment the buildings historic character, created a much-needed outdoor space for the children to learn and play.

Exciting News: Maxxi Moretown is Coming Soon! 👶🏼🌿

We’ve been busy behind the scenes working on an exciting new project for Maxxi Childcare, located near Tower Bridge. As an innovative start-up nursery operator in London, we’re helping Maxxi shape their unique identity through both architecture and interior design.

With work set to begin on-site soon, we can’t wait to watch this vision come to life! Stay tuned for more updates! 👀

48 Bedrooms, 16 Bathrooms and 8 Kitchens later… Cohabs Elephant & Castle is now complete! 🎉

As we continue to help Cohabs grow their presence across London, this project of 8 adjacent terraced units was our biggest and most challenging yet!

Albany Terrace has been designed to combine the best of classical architecture with the benefits of a modern interior with all the space and comforts associated with 21st century co-living.

St Christopher’s School Classroom (3/3)

Reduce, Reuse and Recycle ♻️

At every oppotunity, low embodied carbon materials have been integrated into the design palette to provide a contemporary and refined interior aesthetic.

100% recycled plastic tiles from provide a pop of colour, whilst also helping reduce plastic waste destined for landfill or incineration.

In addition, marmoleum flooring created from installation waste, uplifted post consumer flooring and industry-recycled materials provide both a durable and environmentally friendly solution. 🌱

St Christopher’s School Classrooms (2/3)

Play is when the learning takes place! 🌿

We believe that play is a fundamental part of a child’s education. With generous thresholds and visual connections, the new classrooms seek to create a seamless connection to the outdoors, encouraging children to explore, engage and connect with their natural surroundings!

A dedicated reception play area allows learning activities to continue outside. New play equipment and learning zones support diverse forms of active play and sensory exploration, while offering a variety of ways to connect with nature. 🐞🌿

St Christopher’s School Classrooms (1/3) ✏️

The first phase of our St C’s 10-year masterplan is complete! 🎉✅

Two new classrooms will support 40 pupils and provide additional learning zones and free-flow access out into the dedicated play area. New internal sliding doors encourage flexiblity and adaptability, allowing the classroom to function separately, or as one combined space!

This project included the extension of an existing classroom block and the conversion of a redundant car park into a new early years play space.

Progress in Motion 🚧👷‍♂️

A great site visit to .davids_prep to see the progress on our new classroom block! Exciting to finally see the frame take shape ! Phase 1 of our masterplan is looking to increase capacity to two-form entry and provide fresh specialist teaching facilities.
