Studio Flore Lesca

Studio Flore Lesca Art and interior design studio. Where bold and playful meets delicate and sober, but always fantastical by nature. That is the beauty of being, and creativity.

Studio Flore Lesca designs and creates its own brand of stationery, decorative objects and furnishings for the home as well as the hospitality sector. It also offers interior design services for both sectors, from a quick consultation on paint colours to managing the procurement side of a project, to the final install. We are ever evolving, and as such so does our artistic style and creative endea

vours. We celebrate spontaneity, imperfections and the accidental. We play with various mediums, embracing the twists and turns and the challenges each of them bring, allowing them to direct our creative journey and projects. The connecting thread to our creative output is a balance between chaos and order, where bold and playful meets delicate and sober, but always fantastical by nature. Our inspiration comes from a variety of sources - from naturally occurring patterns, textures and colours found in nature and urban environments (we have a particular fascination with industrial decay) to the more opulent decorative styles found in Islamic and Asian art and textiles. In contrast, we also draw inspiration from the simpler, angular and geometric style seen in Bauhaus design.

: spent the morning with this awesome Guatemalan lady geeking out on beads, meeting her family and the very first woman (her mama) who learnt how to make beaded jewellery here around the lake, and taught the craft to others. What a beautiful experience, which I'm sure will be a beautiful partnership. We will announce product launches later this year!
Thank you universe 🙏🏻

: I'm having this massive deja vu where I feel like I've seen my painting before and the experience of painting it so familiar. This happened only a couple of days ago, this feeling of deja vu. I'll write a piece about it on Substack - how for a brief moment, I had a conversation in real time with the universe while walking on a dirt road.

: waking up in my studio for this month, feeling amazing and so very grateful. Painting without sketching what is right in front of me at my Airbnb. A week of crazy synchronicities, lots of walking dirt roads, yoga, forging paths and now integrating it all through art - c'est du bon les gars.

: watercolour on paper.

This piece unintentionally became filled with lunar and esoteric symbolism. The circular form represents cycles, intuition, and inner perception - almost like a portal into the subconscious.

The 13 dark forms surrounding it reminded me that there are 13 lunar cycles in a year, which is why the number 13 was once considered sacred and deeply connected to the divine feminine, transformation, and rebirth. The dark dots feel like phases of shadow and illumination orbiting the center - a reminder that growth is never linear, and that darkness is part of the cycle too.

The silver tones reflect moon energy and intuition, while the soft pinks bring in tenderness and emotional depth. Altogether, it feels like a meditation on the unseen rhythms we move through internally — the quiet cycles of shedding, becoming, and returning to ourselves.

: Tropical Anatomy. Ink on paper, A4

Somewhere between a flower and a body. Made in the middle of the jungle, where everything feels a little more fluid.

: Sweet on the outside, quiet underneath. Like traveling alone - everything looks bright and new, but no one is there to share it with. The contrast: small pleasures on the surface, and the loneliness that comes along for the ride.

When your mind won't stop even rest feels heavy

Seeing and understanding things can hurt. From the mouth, thought is forced into motion. In a mental chamber, perception, expression, and strain circulate. Nothing fully resolves - it settles into heaviness instead.
