We’ll provide full training to the highest standards from our experienced engineers, plus certifications such as EN16005, IPAF, PASMA, and Gatesafe.

What We’re Looking For:

Age: Must be 25 or older with a clean driving license.
Skills: Basic knowledge of hand tools and a willingness to learn.
Attributes: You should be enthusiastic, eager to take on new skills, and not afraid of heights!
Team Player: You’ll need to work well with others and be a proactive member of the team.

Argents Installations is currently seeking a Skilled Engineer to join our rapidly growing, family-run company serving the Herts, Beds, Bucks, and London areas. We are looking for an Industrial Door Engineer/Automatic Multiskilled Engineer to become a valued member of our close-knit team.

We're thrilled to offer this exhilarating opportunity for an Engineer to become a part of our company in the dynamic Industrial Door and Automation Industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including service, repair, and installation of Industrial Doors, Automatic Doors, and more. Working in both industrial and retail settings, with no on-call rotation.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

• Based in the Herts, Beds, or Bucks Area
• Preferably, a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role involving Industrial door and Door Automation, electrical, electronic, or mechanical engineering maintenance
• Ability to comprehend technical drawings and instructions effectively
• Experience in installation and maintenance within commercial/retail premises
• Proficiency in three-phase and single-phase electrical systems
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently
• Competent in following verbal instructions and performing physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects
• Willingness to cover occasional callouts (no callout rota) and flexibility for overtime as needed by the business
Requirements:

• Provide at least two references
• Full clean driving licence
• IPAF Certification
• EN16005 Compliance
• PASMA Certification
• CSCS Card
Salary: £30,000.00 to £50,000.00 per year, with overtime opportunities. Working Hours: 7:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. Overtime available weekly, with corresponding overtime rates. 20 days paid holiday plus Bank Holidays. Position: Full-time, Permanent Successful candidates will receive a Fuel Card, Mobile Phone, Tablet, Tools, and specialized equipment for the job.
