Meeting with the Mayor of Tira – Presentation of the New Primary School Design

Yesterday, Llabres Tabony Architects had the pleasure of meeting with the Mayor of Tira and the City Engineer to present our design for the city’s new Primary School.
The project embodies our vision of creating an innovative, open, and sustainable learning environment that inspires creativity, connection, and curiosity.

The new school is designed as a community hub, integrating shaded courtyards and outdoor learning terraces to strengthen interaction between students, teachers, and the wider community.

We are proud to collaborate with the Municipality of Tira on this forward-looking project — a step toward a sustainable and inspiring educational infrastructure.

🧒🏽✨ Jisr al-Zarqa Kindergarten and Daycare
Designed by LlabresTabony Architects

This beautiful new daycare isn't built from the ground up — it's built on top of an existing building! The project reuses a municipal structure’s rooftop to create a safe, colorful, and joyful space for kids, complete with elevated courtyards and engaging outdoor areas.

It’s a wonderful example of how architectural reuse can benefit both communities and the environment.

👏 A space for childhood, learning, and play — right where it's needed most.

Very proud of our excellent design team. The concept design for Naharia Hotel has been approved.

Naharia Hotel is a seaside 120 room family hotel. The two sides of the hotel respond to two different conditions, one urban the other the seafront.

Dear Colleagues and friends,
Join us for a design seminar tomorrow at the Bartlett School of Architecture.

Seminal voices increasingly question what constitutes a city—suggesting a shift from the hierarchical organization of density as an instrument to analyze the recent reorganization of the built environment. Contemporary urban challenges are related to new localities, often distant territories, interconnected, in an overall tendency of planetary dispersal. Under this condition, how can memories, histories and critical heritage play a role in the creative process?

Computers, AI, and machine learning are becoming so sophisticated that it is developing their kind of intuition. We are beginning to see many examples of art, poetry, and literature created by machines. This seminar will discuss the self-referential patterns in history and the influence our historical references and heritage have on the creative process. It will question how the future of technology and the arts help designers explore areas in the creative world that we do not realize are out there.

The landscape design integrates the sport field and the hotel into the city's public realm; connecting the visitors experience with the unique views towards the valley.
