The biggest compliment anyone can give our home is, “It feels calm.”

Especially because life inside it often isn’t. The kids are definitely not calm, I’m an anxious person, and there are two Scorpios under this roof.

But creating a calm space around us helps ground us. It gives us somewhere to exhale after busy days, loud moments, and all the chaos that comes with family life.

A peaceful home isn’t about perfection. It’s about creating a place that makes you feel a little more settled when the world feels anything but.

I know things change, but sometimes you just want to share one special picture, not fill a carousel with fillers or cover the image in text so you can barely even see it.

We’re so fortunate to have a corner plot, having this width to the house makes such a difference.

Making a heat pump a little less ugly. Built this larch cover to blend in with our fencing while still allowing airflow around the unit.
