Miss Lucinda here is all about the unique shiny crinkly foliage in magical shades of deep mauves and purple. Their low maintenance nature makes them the best desk or small shelf plant for busy urban lives ❤️ Swipe to see it up close 🌱

☀️ Prefers bright, indirect light but can tolerate low light conditions. Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight exposure.

💧Water sparingly, allowing most of the plant to dry out in between watering. Bottom water me!

🌡️ 18-24 Celsius

🪴 Repot every 2-3 years in spring when root bound, using a well draining potting mix with added perlite.

🌱 Sarracenia ‘Fiona’🌱

To celebrate all the hot sizzling sun that we’ve been blessed with recently, this week’s plant pick is a bizzare sun loving carnivorous variety! 🏺Also called pitcher plants, Sarracenias attract insects with their scent and bright colours 🌈 Little hairs inside these pitchers trap bugs and then digest them with enzymes 😲

☀️ loves full sun, the more the better

💧she likes it soggy! water a little every day but avoid using tap water - soft/distilled/rainwater is best

🌡️ 20-35 celcius (Summer), -5 to 10 celcius (Winter)

🪴 repot only when roots are clearly visible from drainage holes, use dedicated carnivorous soil (we stock it too!)

🐾 pet friendly
