Beautiful MC installation on a kitchen in Chelmsford Essex, clients did not want pour in situ or precast concrete as time was a huge factor so needed an alternative that could mimic the finish that was required.

Client wanted an asteroid like finish while still being modern and industrial

Base boards were mdf 18mm sandwiched together to create 36mm base boards

Boards were all glued, screwed and filled with 2 part filler

Worktop surfaces were then primed with primer RR before base coat was applied

Technique used was our own design pioneered for our sculptures that we created for a hotel a while back

Beautiful splashback to complement in slightly different texture to differentiate the 2 surfaces

We were asked to create plinths to accompany these magnificent works of art supplied by the great

We started by creating a solid concrete base, we agreed that clean lines were essential for simplicity as showcasing the main structure was paramount with materials complimenting surroundings of the hotel.

Micro cement and liquid metal brass was used to enhance the blocks

New product alert

Exceptionally proud of this one, I know its already out there but videos and pics do not do this justice.

Media wall and fire place Inc concrete and liquid metal coating, textured and polished to a high gloss finish.

Microcement base in 3 stage layer to use a a burnished finish and come through the metal giving subtle hints of burnished metal.

Metal used was bronze with a hint of copper to patina as well as a flick of pewter.

Totally amazed with how this turned out and will be offering this service as part of our business structure.

Coatings can be applied to any surface from splash backs to kitchen doors and even showers. Our new liquid coatings are available in a wide range of metals and textures as well as bespoke one off textures and designs too

Fantastic install. Client had an idea and asked if it was possible to have the worktop as the hob ... here is the finished article.

Poured in situ in warm grey with exposed aggregate drainer grooves (grooves are shorter but this was clients discretion)

Very different install in Rochester this week.

Client sourced a German hob that the burners are only visible and in essence the worktop itself is the hob!!!

Now we were told that the only option for the hob to work would be pre cast or stone...

We love a challenge and as usual we made it work , poured in situ with no joins as promised

A truly brilliant statement piece and we will update with the final photos after polishing

Anyone needing any work and interested in the polished concrete sector please PM me, an opening has been created in our team due to increased work load coming in

Applicants ideally need to drive but not essential as long as they can get to work place or meet at yard , scope for company vehicle after trial period

Must have some knowledge of basic tools and what they do

Manors, politeness and site etiquette is paramount nothing worse than rude arrogant people.

Must be willing to learn

Some of our work is heavy work so please bare this in mind that sometimes you will be lifting concrete panels as well as sometimes late days so please bare this in mind also

Concrete finishing is never 9-5 we are governed by when concrete is ready to trowel
And not when you need to get home.
On other days when formwork is going in we can be back home by 2pm so swings and roundabouts

In situ polished concrete countertops with Ash White colour hardener, undercoated sink with exposed aggregate drainer grooves

Fantastic colour combination along with hand made kitchen

Traditional bbq design with big pizza oven installed , integrated grill and storage for logs

Design was created by client and executed by Elliot Craig... client still wanted an element of rustic feel

Polished concrete precast top in pewter, bricks are Staffordshire blues with natural mortar

The end result is a lovely twist on a traditional design

Another beautiful install from Elliot Craig Concrete. Clients Spencer and Keeley not only had input in to the design but are also lovely people to work for. Even though there were longer waiting times than expected the end result looks phenomenal!!!
