The Pub

A beautiful hand made sign by one of the foremost traditional sign makers in the country and a wonderful human being 🙏. All hand carved, gilt and inlaid with mother of pearl details. The space wouldn’t be a pub without it.

Classic vs contemporary. There’s so much interest to be found in the subtle contrast between old and new. When paired with a considered palette, this conversation creates a space with real depth and intrigue. Playful touches like leopard print cushions and contemporary artworks offset the more classical elements we preserved from the original hotel. Objects like cast iron fireplaces and traditional sculptures bring a different energy into the space. It’s all about balance 🙏
