This is where appliance placement becomes part of the architecture.

The Oriel ovens are positioned not just as a visual feature, but to support the natural ergonomics of the kitchen. By placing them at a comfortable working height and close to the main preparation and serving zones, the layout reduces unnecessary bending, reaching, and walking.

Beautiful form. Functional flow. A perfect example of design that works as well as it looks.

Starting with the smallest detail. The handle was carefully selected to echo the geometry of the cabinetry, creating a subtle visual connection that ties the entire composition together. When every element speaks the same design language, even the hardware becomes part of the architecture.

5 features you probably wouldn't notice at first glance. And that's exactly the point.

In architectural design, a kitchen should never be approached as a collection of individual components. It should be designed as a complete ecosystem, where function, ergonomics, materiality, and movement are considered from the very beginning. When the workflow is intuitive, storage feels effortless, and every zone supports the way you live, the space simply feels right even if you can't immediately explain why.

Exceptional joinery should do more than provide storage; it should shape the experience of a room. This concealed workspace is designed around the idea of architectural camouflage, allowing an entire study area to be revealed when needed and discreetly hidden when not. By integrating multiple functions within a single architectural volume, the design preserves visual calm while responding to the evolving demands of modern living.

Depth is one of the quiet details that can completely change the character of cabinetry. By layering the door profile rather than keeping every surface flat, the design creates shadow, rhythm, and a stronger sense of craftsmanship. It gives the furniture more presence without making it feel heavy, allowing even a small workspace to feel architectural, detailed, and beautifully resolved.

Lighting has the power to change the entire atmosphere of a kitchen, even when the room is already filled with natural daylight. It adds depth where sunlight alone can feel flat, draws attention to material textures, and creates a softer sense of warmth around the areas we use most. In a well designed kitchen, lighting is not only about visibility, it is what gives the room mood, character, and a sense of invitation throughout the day.

Rather than allowing the structural column to dictate separation within the room, it was carefully integrated into the composition, transforming a fixed architectural element into a purposeful feature that mediates between function and form.

The dialogue between crisp linear cabinetry and softened curved geometry introduces a natural rhythm throughout the space.

This considered balance allows the architecture to feel both structured and welcoming, while ensuring the Oriel oven remains the focal point of the room, a distinctive Modern British signature that brings character, craftsmanship, and a strong sense of identity to the overall design.

Storage doesn’t always have to follow the expected box. With our O’45 collection, geometry becomes part of the function. The patented 45-degree drawer creates a clearer view of what’s inside, improves access, and makes better use of depth that would often be harder to reach in a conventional layout.

It is a reminder that good storage is not only about creating more space, but about shaping that space so it works smarter.

A narrow space doesn’t always mean limited storage. With the right hinge system and internal layout, even the slim gap beside the oven can become a highly functional pantry.
Everything stays neatly stored, but more importantly, still easy to see, reach, and use. Because maximising space is not just about fitting more in, it’s about making every centimetre work properly.

Designed as more than just an appliance surround, the Oriel frame creates an architectural moment within the kitchen elevation. It can be finished in different materials and tones to suit the overall scheme, allowing the oven area to become part of the design language rather than simply a functional necessity.

Beyond its visual presence, this detail also makes the space around the oven more useful, adding depth, structure, and purpose to an area that is often left flat or overlooked.
