Made using timber deck boards, pressure treated for longevity and to help prevent rot. The plots were dug down to aerate the soil and ensure deeper root conditions

Raised beds benefit from improved drainage, increased soil temperature and easier cultivation. They look pretty neat too

Grown from seeds, both were propagated at the beginning of the year, kept in the warmth for several months before potting on to 30" pots in early summer

Looking forward to roasted peppers and home-made chill sauce 😋

Full make-over of this tranquil Brockley garden

Beds replanted with evergreen shrubs and perennials to offer seasonal interest, colour and fragrance all year round

Concrete surface removed to create new beds on the side return and a wall-mounted trellis installed for climbers

Lawn cleared of weeds and unwanted slate chippings, rotavated with rich top soil to improve the seed-bed quality and cultivated to a fine tilth. The plot was levelled, a pre-turfing fertiliser raked in, then laid with Rolawn Medallion turf

Plants purchased from local nursery, with 50% trade discount passed on to client

Rejuvenating this lovely New Cross garden

Unwanted brick planters and stepping stones were removed and the lawn was re-laid to create a larger and more inviting space to play and relax

The garden was cleared of weeds, rotavated and levelled with a pre-turfing fertiliser raked in, then laid with Rolawn Medallion turf. It hasn't stopped raining since, so couldn't have been better timed too
