Let’s make wardrobe curtains!

I was sick of looking at our clothes stuffed in our wardrobes, so I took some left over fabric (or a large table cloth works well), measured, cut, then hemmed the ends. I threaded through each hemmed end (both top and bottom) a wardrobe rod and screwed it inside the doors. Job done!

The fabric is a paisley print from Laura Ashley.

(ad as features some PR samples) Sunny evening baths 🛁 in my blue and yellow bathroom 💛💙. This bathroom gets the best of the evening sunshine, so if timed right, a quiet and sunny evening relaxing in the tub is a good place to be.

We are off to Peppa Pig world today 🐷 with my son and niece, so relaxing is definitely NOT on the cards 😂

🌸June Loading🌸

I can’t believe we are already in June. Halfway through 2026 already! June has always been one of my favourite months - when my garden hydrangeas bloom and I can fill the house with their pink, blue and white flowers. Colourful flowers for a colourful home!

I was going through the photos of our half term holiday this morning and I was going to just post a few pretty pictures that I snapped, but then I thought why not share a bit of our reality as a family with a non-verbal autistic son, and how we plan our holidays around his complex needs. It’s taken us many years to get here. Often, we have travelled home in the middle of the night, all of us in tears and having wasted thousands of pounds. Thanks to some amazing therapists and support, we now have worked out ways to support Jaxon so that he can enjoy his holidays like any other child. I hope you found this interesting or if you have a child with SEND or other disabilities, you find a few of these tips useful.

Ad pr invite / Everything I took photos of at Chelsea Flower Show, Part 2!

I was naturally drawn to everything on display that was frilly and had lots of colour! I was a big fan of the buckets of orange geums and pink ranunculus by in Chelsea’s main pavilion. The sweet peas also stole my heart and there was so much ‘display veg’ this year. Styled tomatoes 🍅 were the ultimate in chic tablescaping!
