4 weeks into the build. 5 late nights in a row. One very big deadline! 🚀

It’s been an absolutely exhausting week, working past midnight every night, but this is the stage of a project I love most.

After weeks of designing, engineering and fabrication, the finished materials are finally coming together, and the beauty of the design is starting to reveal itself.

This latest creation is a bespoke static photo booth for House which is heading to London’s iconic Carnaby Street first thing Monday morning!

Inspired by the aviation styling of our Airstream photo trailer, it’s another example of how one creative project can influence the next.

Will we get it finished in time? 😅

There’s only one way to find out… better get back to work!

PART 3 | THE TREE OF REMEMBRANCE 🌳✨

From digital drawings to stainless steel reality!

We’re another step closer to bringing the James Foundation’s Tree of Remembrance to life.

This week, I’m back with the engineers and fabricators, checking every measurement and connection on the central structure before the welding begins.

Precision is everything at this stage. Once installed, this sculpture needs to stand proudly for generations, providing a beautiful place for families to remember the little lives that left such a lasting impact. ❤️

One of the things I love most about my work is collaborating with incredibly skilled craftspeople, many of whom come from the world of motorsport and precision engineering.

Bringing those skills together to create something so delicate, meaningful and beautiful is what makes this project particularly special.

And the exciting news?

How do you turn an idea into something that will touch people’s lives? ❤️

PART 2 – Bringing the Tree of Remembrance to Life 🌳

After weeks of designing and refining this sculpture in 3D on my computer, this is one of my favourite moments in the creative process — seeing an idea finally take physical shape!

Today we’re at the laser cutters, using some seriously impressive industrial machinery to cut the main stainless steel profiles that will form the structure of our Tree of Remembrance.

It’s the first time I can really appreciate the scale of what we’re creating, and there’s something incredibly rewarding about watching these powerful machines transform the vision I’ve developed with Kelly and her family into something real.

Something that will eventually become a beautiful place of remembrance, reflection and comfort for families supported by the wonderful James Foundation. ❤️

As we mark Baby Loss Awareness Week, my thoughts are with everyone who has experienced the heartbreak of losing a baby. 🕊️

How do you honour a life before it began? ❤️

How do you create something beautiful from unimaginable heartbreak?
charity was established to support parents and families experiencing the devastating loss of a baby, helping them navigate a time of unimaginable grief.

Recently, they approached me with a very special request: to design and create a sculpture that would offer families a place of remembrance, reflection and, hopefully, moments of peace and beauty.

It’s an extraordinary honour to be trusted with something so deeply personal.

As an artist and designer, I’ve spent over 25 years exploring how light, materials and movement can transform the way we experience the world around us. But rarely has a project carried quite this level of emotional significance.

I know the pain of a life lost before it started.

So I fully embrace the challenges of this project.

My ambition is to create something truly special. A sculpture that not only remembers the little lives lost, but celebrates the love that will always remain.

Today marks the first stage of bringing that vision to life.

The first pieces of stainless steel are being laser cut, and over the coming weeks I’ll be sharing the journey from raw materials to a finished work of art.

There’s a lot of love, thought and craftsmanship going into this one, and I can’t wait to show you how it develops ahead of its grand unveiling in November.

Because even the shortest lives can leave a lasting impression. ❤️
