I’m a big fan of Mitch Payne and love the shots he took of my black stained oak Tempus clocks. The blue light pops beautifully and contrasts so nicely with the grain brass frame.

Here is my Arc lamp taking inspiration very obviously from the very well known piece by Italian brothers Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni for Flos in 1962! Fondazione Achille Castiglioni

My version is made with one giant block of clear acrylic, a fibre optic light source mounted at the base of the shaft filling the entire arc with shimmering light. Then creating a focal light into the clear hemisphere we blew to illuminate my SWAROVSKI crystal high heel shoe I hand sculpted. So much effort into such a simple piece. Simple design is the hardest design!

Where it all began!!

My end of year show piece at Middlesex University!

All the ingredients of my work 25 plus years later!

Exploring that wonderful relationship between material , light and form! My early ideas were how to soften my love of lighting with more natural materials such as wood. Something I haven’t been using for quite some time but have just discovered a renewed enthusiasm for!!

Very excited to show you a new collection and will be revealed on the 19th September with THE LIMITED EDITION 🇬🇧 in London.

What goes into turning an Airstream trailer into mobile photobooth???

Well we will now take you on a journey about how that happens!!

Today we are proud to share the very beginning of a new project venture with documenting the process of a when a new client comes to me with an idea via an old childhood friend who wants to help a friend out with a very personal business after losing her father to step into the role of taking over a family business and honour the great work of a cool father who is sadly no longer with us! Laura and I shared a love of mid century design, cool interiors and great customer experience and how to take a photo booth business and bring that into the modern realm!

We are both Very excited to share our new base model Bambi edition Airstream has been purchased and is fit for purpose and we’ll be getting this project into operation ready for use in November! Ready for use in central London pre Xmas and cool festivals soon!!! Boom 💥

While we celebrated a drink on a big investment for Laura it was even more exciting to hear what a motorcycle freak and legend her father was and how now I feel very proud to do my best to honour his vision he has now passed on to his daughter!

Some projects are just meant to happen!!

My Caillou Chaise in liquid chrome I made for James Perkins featuring at one of his lovely renovation projects in Howsham Hall I believe.

Taking inspiration from roof lines and bodywork of 1960’s English sports car design. Hand shaped by me in my workshop in west london at the time. Looks stunning in this simple finish. Just plays with light and shadow so seductively! Lots of interesting projects on the radar in polished and grained silvers this next half of the year! Keep your eyes open!!
