Paint swatches don't look the same in the shop lighting. Colours shift with the light and it's important to see how it looks in natural daylight and before you commit, tape the swatch to the wall and see how it looks throughout the day as the light changes.

Want to make the right colour choice?

Our dear London is grey today and the plants are loving it.

Colour can completely change how a workplace feels, warm reds can bring energy, white, blues and greens can create calm and focus.

My tip? Choose the feeling first, then the colour and always test your samples in the actual space

Colour hunting for F**koffee.

A tip for choosing paint colours, a colour can look completely different under shop lighting so I always check swatches in daylight and even better the space they're going into.

There’s something I love about designing with what’s already there.

Furniture makers often end up with a surplus of Formica and FENIX offcuts, perfectly good pieces that are simply too small for the job they were originally intended for.

So for the new tables at , I’m playing around with the leftovers. Mixing colours, textures and finishes to see what happens.

No expensive samples. No ordering new materials. Just a pile of offcuts and a bit of mixing until it feels right.

Once I’m happy, my furniture maker can turn my design into the tabletops.

A little bit of waste becomes something people will use every day. ♻️

Stop wasting time scrolling on the internet for bathroom fittings, get yourself to a showroom and see the products for yourself. Nothing beats irl to check quality, finish and colour and you get to speak to an experienced and knowledgeable real human being. Thank you CP Hart for making it real.

Did anyone else do this as a kid? Take the bathroom mirror down and look into it up at the ceiling whilst walking round the house?
