We’re equally interested in the feeling of a space. The atmosphere, the energy, the way people move through and connect with it.

Every project begins with understanding the mood and the feeling we want a space to evoke, and how we want people to behave once they’re in it.

The result is... spaces look good, and make you want to stick around.

Each space, the bar, the crazy golf courses, the arcade, the food hall, was considered as part of one connected experience, designed to keep guests moving, competing, and staying longer.

I’ve never been a fan of glass staircases.
They’ve always felt uncomfortable to walk on, structurally clunky, and scuffed within weeks.

So how did I end up with one in our terraced house in East London?

A large skylight, a glass staircase, and the removal of part of the loft floor transformed what is usually the darkest part of a Victorian home, the circulation space, into something remarkable.

Now, from the ground floor to the roof, there’s a clear sight line and an unexpected sense of openness.
The result? A hall with nine metres of ceiling height and heaps of natural light.

It’s still a bit odd walking on glass.
But I’ll take it.

Flashback to December, where we launched three new mirror designs with .mirrors at Cruise Ship Interiors Hamburg .expo 🪞

Zach and Marian Martinez from .mirrors chatted to about the creative process behind each piece, exploring how form, light, and materiality come together in the mirrors to meet the specific demands of the cruise sector, while elevating the visual identity of onboard spaces.
