A beautiful hallway sets the tone for your whole house, and makes it a pleasure to come home. In this family home in Chiswick we ran tiles from the front door through to the kitchen creating an inviting flow. We also designed an attractive and hugely practical cloakroom unit that keeps all the usual family clutter under control.

Here's a clever design detail that adds instant character to the room: exposed ceiling joists. As well as increasing the feeling of height in the kitchen, it also created a place for us to combine pendant lights and hanging planters to create a unique feature.

We just adore the simplicity of this kitchen - the seamless stainless steel worktop and sink are a great finishing touch to the crisp lines of the cabinets. Pairing these with an exposed brick wall, which brings texture and character, creates a dream of a space here in Ealing. And then there's the view!
