The next upcoming project is this side and rear extension with additional loft conversion of a semi-detached house in Cambridge.
Rather than proposing a conventional  cramped  double floor extension, our approach was for a generous single floor extension which incorporates natural outdoor spaces.
The pitched roof-scape frames a central courtyard, which bridges the existing with the new and is a modern take on a typical Chinese courtyard house. It also provides privacy between the existing and new, as well as views that can be enjoyed from both sides,  which were important to our client’s lifestyle.

The next upcoming project is this side and rear extension with additional loft conversion of a semi-detached house in Cambridge.

Another prolonged project due to covid is finally going on site! A self-contained outbuilding at the rear of an enormous garden in Cambridge. The use of local brick, which continues inside and out, gives the outbuilding its robust and idyllic feeling. In 30 sqm it contains a living room, an open-plan kitchen, a bedroom & a shower room. The main living space is completely open and separated naturally by our bespoke in-built joinery centrepiece.

grade II listed✅, fire incident✅, license to alter✅, top floor duplex flat✅, lockdowns✅✅✅… the possibly most complicated restoration/ interior design project of ours is finally approaching completion!
