Fictional Eclecticism 🧈

Does classical decor always have to go hand in hand with classical architecture? An experimental bar interior, that I support with different forms which I always like to try out, using modern and eclectic products. Warm and cool tones, add depth and interest to the space.

Our studio is all about bright colours with modern design, that's why we are proud to share these fun visualisations we co-designed with Central Design Studio, for ’s new corner in Selfridges.

The pink hub that fit her brand, developed to hold all the kitchen equipments that are necessary to serve all the glorious matchas, coffees and pasteries. 3D visualisations also done by us.

Edwin Chair designed by me inspired by the great Marcer Breuer’s Wassily Chair . (Obviously right?) I feel like we don’t need to discover a new world, in order to create original designs🤷‍♀️

So where is this name Edwin coming from? In 1910, Louis Baltzley invented the binder clip, so that his father Edwin no longer had to bind his manuscripts by sewing the pages together through holes punched in the pages (which was the standard method in the day).

Neon nostalgia, my new furniture line, is inspired by the furniture I was surrounded with in my family home when I was growing up. That furniture was nothing special, probably the type of furniture that you could find in anyone's home back then, but they ornamented our daily lives and made our lives easier..

I decided to give some of those classic furniture items a contemporary approach. While the neon outlines of this classical furniture show the original form, the modern shape of the plexi blocks encasing them create a futuristic-urban vibe. As well as a pleasant feeling while they glow, these products also allow a user to sit and reminisce about the furniture that featured in their childhood.
