Travertine is a form of limestone that is deposited around mineral springs, in particular hot springs, making it the perfect material for a bespoke bathtub.

This hand-carved bathtub is made from Italian travertine, a beautiful, naturally variegated stone. The interior of the bath is filled and sealed, but the external face is left in its natural found state.

Throughout the Hiaven project you will find Italian travertine: monumental objects carved out of solid blocks of stone. This washbasin retains the striking open fissures that naturally occur within the coloured strata. The matching hand carved shower pedestal complements the in situ concrete walls.

HiAvens

A farmhouse reimagined on a monolithic scale. Set into an ironstone escarpment with panoramic views, HiAvens draws on the raw beauty of its landscape with burnished concrete, European red elm and travertine cut from blocks hand selected in Italy. The result is a bold, tactile and timeless home, grounded yet uncompromisingly contemporary.

Grounded in passive design, our latest project envisions a home where the ground floor is thoughtfully embedded into the natural slope of the site, allowing the upper level to sit lightly above, forming a refined pavilion that sits with a quiet presence in the landscape.

Elevated by sculptural intent, the kitchen is framed by high walls finished in a textural limewash, elements that quietly shape and define the space.

The kitchen at Fitzrovia House pairs refined contemporary elements with Georgian grandeur. Brushed aluminium cabinetry and a stainless steel island sit beneath ornate ceilings and restored pine floors, creating a calm, light-filled space anchored by a Palladian fireplace and softened with limewashed walls.

We’re currently working on the early phases of this three-storey family home, now at the pre-application stage. The design replaces a disused garage with a finely detailed, low-impact structure. A pared-back palette of pale brick and timber, tapered massing, and deep reveals lend a sense of calm and permanence. Internally, spaces are light-filled and adaptable, designed for the rhythms of modern family life.

At The Factory, patinated steel and pale timber meet in quiet dialogue at the centre of the home. The kitchen, anchored by monolithic forms and softened by the tactility of hand-finished surfaces, reflects the project’s ethos: a deliberate, grounded approach shaped by the language of the original structure.

The Factory is a bold transformation of a former industrial space into a refined urban dwelling. Driven by an ambitious brief, the design embraces the building’s raw history by exposing original structure and fabric while introducing a quiet, confident palette of new materials. Bespoke furniture and lighting, crafted in collaboration with local artisans, add depth and authenticity, reinforcing a narrative of contrast and continuity.
