Site update. It’s been a while since we posted from site for no particular reason. In fact we have 7 jobs on site at the moment so plenty of ‘content’ for those of you that like building sites. This one is all about connection to the garden and improving internal flow and space. As this is a detached property the garden is so important and wraps all around. This new living space will really focus on that natural external space which is currently lacking.

To bed the new building into the landscaping we are using some strong materials: burnt timber (black and textured) along with copper which will slowly patina to green as the garden grows around it.

External shading is your friend today - deciduous plants are perfect for creating shade in summer but allow sunshine through in the winter. They also reduce the heat outside too.
