Owl Spaces for positive living. Owl was founded on the belief that design has the power to enhance your whole life.

Our aim is to create uplifting interiors that have a lasting positive impact on the people who inhabit them every day. Balancing form with function, we give spaces room to breathe so they work better and allow design details to shine. Drawing on a love of nature and craftsmanship, we enjoy working with fresh colour combinations, organic shapes, graphic patterns and natural materials to create inte

riors that instinctively feel good. The studio
Owl was established in 2014 by Sophie Van Winden and Simone Gordon, who came together through their shared love of joyful, daring design. Based in East London, the studio offers interior design, styling and consultancy across residential and commercial projects. Sustainability
We want to create spaces that last. Our interiors are designed to feel relevant today and tomorrow, made from high-quality materials that will stand the test of time. We also aim to reduce our environmental impact wherever possible. From non-toxic paint to repurposed furniture, we try and reduce, reuse and recycle at every stage of the design process.

Playful scalloped detailing above the bathroom door continued the theme of our Chapel project, echoing the shape of the marble behind the kitchen sink.

A contrasting bright blue industrial door handle adds another layer of fun, whilst an existing shelf was repurposed into hidden storage - always a win in smaller bathrooms.

Bathrooms are the perfect place to play with colour.

If you’ve ever fancied going bold but hesitated in the main living spaces, this is your sign to do it here instead. Reds and pinks work beautifully in all their forms - from soft peach through to rich burgundy - and feel especially right in a room that’s a little more hidden, a little more unexpected.

A bathroom isn’t on constant show, so it becomes this little moment of surprise every time you open the door. We love bringing a sense of fun into these often-forgotten spaces.

This bathroom, designed for our clients’ sons, was created with longevity in mind. The colour palette is playful enough to suit two boys, but won’t feel childish or dated as they grow.

This bedroom was designed purely for rest. With deliberately very little furniture other than the bespoke bed, we added a ‘matching’ carpet for a luxuriously soft 70s-inspired feel. From the bed, the view is out to the beautiful garden beyond.
