Aram Store is widely regarded as London's best modern furniture retailer. It is certainly the longest established, having been founded in 1964 by Zeev Aram - the first man to bring the work of Le Corbusier, Marcel Breuer and Achille Castiglione amongst others to the British public. Now, Aram Store occupies a fantastic, five-storey showroom on Drury Lane in the heart of London's Covent Garden. The

huge old fruit and vegetable warehouse provides a lofty 20,000 square feet of showroom space - ample room to showcase the very best selection of pieces from over 400 manufacturers and suppliers of contemporary furniture. In the early 1970's, Zeev began a collaboration with the designer Eileen Gray which resulted in Ms Gray granting Aram Designs Ltd the worldwide licence to introduce, produce and distribute her designs in 1975 - a licence Aram holds to this day. With background knowledge from nearly fifty years in this industry, with a passion for the product and with a genuine commitment to provide the highest possible levels of customer service throughout the entire process of buying a piece of furniture, Aram Store's service really is second to none.

We recently received a new petrol green finish of the Lokum tables, designed by Sabine Marcelis for Acerbis.

Made of blown glass, each table is coloured in a crucible, creating different shades depending on the interplay of light and shadow across its surface.

The ND52 Vita 2 Seat Sofa, designed by Nanna Ditzel, on the second floor at 110 Drury Lane. An elegant exposed solid wood frame supports a softly curved, open shell with a supportive high back, creating the impression that the upholstered seat floats above the frame.

Also featured are the S64 Chair Jil Sander Nordic Edition by Thonet, the Calamo desk by Gabriele Rosa for Zanotta, the Seki-Han floor lamp by Tobia Scarpa for Flos, the Wendingen rug by Eileen Gray, and the Alanda '18 Coffee Table by Paolo Piva for B&B Italia.

On display on the second floor at 110 Drury Lane is a configuration of the Jalis sofa by Jehs & Laub for COR. Its modular construction is composed of individual seat and backrest elements that are linked together to create seamless compositions.
Refined seam detailing traces the contours of each upholstered module, while the system can be specified in a wide range of sizes, layouts and upholstery options to suit a variety of interiors.
