A Victorian entrance done the right way — from the ground up.

In Streatham, we installed a traditional herringbone pathway using 150 × 50 mm tiles in a rich red, black and white palette, framed with a 50 mm zigzag border, triple line detailing, and a hand-finished red rope edging.

But the real difference is beneath the surface.

This installation was fully rebuilt with a new engineered concrete base, designed to perform on London clay — not just look good on day one.

Finished with a hand-cut Yorkstone step, creating a strong, period-correct threshold that will age beautifully with the property.

No shortcuts. No surface laying. Just proper groundwork and precise geometry.

Victorian geometry, rebuilt properly from the ground up.

A full pathway and porch installation finished in a timeless black, white & red chequerboard, framed with a 50mm diamond border and triple-line detailing — exactly how these entrances were meant to look.

Every tile is solid colour throughout, not surface printed — built to last decades, not years.

We paired the floor with hand-cut Yorkstone steps and traditional daisy grate ventilation, restoring both the look andthe function of the original entrance.
