Move over kombucha, Tepache is great for gut health, easy to make and thirst-quenching!

Tepache is a live-cultured sparkling drink rooted in old school Mexican fermenting traditions, which pairs tangy pineapple with spicy cinnamon and cloves. Tapache is great for gut health, easy to make and thirst-quenching! Better yet, Tapache uses the the skins of pineapples that are usually throw away making this a low-waste kitchen recipe.

In this hands-on virtual workshop, Lorraine, from South London Ferments in collaboration with Urban Growth, will show you how to make Tepache. You will learn how to combine the ingredients and how long to leave your ferment.

Wed, 13 January 2021, 18:00 – 19:00PM.
