Shoes: Here is a fabulous inexpensive idea for storing shoes whilst saving space. The only thing I would change, I do not recommend storing shoes with clothes. I would buy an ikea bookshelf and install the shoe rack & place it near the front entrance or perhaps your laundry room.

Recently, whilst working in Germany, I visited a friends beautifully organised making room.
She designs her own fabrics and creates the most stunning pieces.

What really makes this space work is the storage.

Everything is broken down into smaller cube shelving, each space with a clear purpose.

Some open for easy access, others use fitted containers, and where possible, things are labelled.

When everything has a place, the room works with you… not against you.
