This week's feature: a door entry and CCTV installation completed for a striking period property in London.

The brief was simple in principle, more considered in ex*****on, introduce modern access control and surveillance without compromising the character of the building.

A discreet CCTV unit, an integrated video entry panel, and a fully monitored access point now sit seamlessly alongside original period detailing.

Good security shouldn't be an afterthought bolted onto a building. It should be planned in from the outset, specified to match the environment, and installed to a standard that reflects the value of what it's protecting.

Five Years of Trust, Built One Service Call at a Time.

A relationship doesn't earn a review like this by accident, it's built through consistency: showing up on time, communicating clearly, and delivering to the same standard on the small jobs as the major installs.

This year, that included a full fire and intruder alarm replacement, completed over the summer holidays without disruption to their operations.

Grateful for partners who trust us with their long-term security, and for the words to prove it:
"I have been now for the past 5 years, within those 5 years I have been fortunate to have very reliable maintenance contractors. The one in this instance is J-Tech security systems, who maintain our fire and security systems. Having this company working alongside us has made our annual inspection and servicing easy — we get notifications from their admin team when a service is due, and they always turn up on time and when they say they will.

We have recently had both our fire and intruder alarms replaced and updated. The fire alarm project was a major install, and J-Tech handled this perfectly, putting in many hours, sweat and tears to get it completed over the summer holidays.

I find the engineers all easy to talk to and professional, and they explain any issues they find. Dealing with the admin side is also very easy, always polite, and they will deal with any issues as soon as possible. I hope we can continue to work together for the long-term future."

The ceiling detail and ornate coving are stunning enough on their own, but it's the lighting that finishes the room off perfectly.

Warm, subtle, tracing every curve of the plasterwork, it just complements the space so well.
