A confident palette sets the tone in this Edwardian cloakroom by Owl Interior Design.

Part of a carefully executed Edwardian home extension, the space pairs contemporary joinery with the original house’s character. In the cloakroom and WC, the colours in our tile design were chosen to harmonise with the interior scheme.

The chequerboard format is our Classic 70 mm, framed by a 50 mm diamond border with three-line detail featuring blue triangles.

The coffee and white tones provide a calm, neutral base that sits comfortably within the room’s richer colours.

Even compact spaces can hold bold, well-balanced design.

A fire hearth reimagined, seamlessly integrated with its surroundings.

Our blue-and-white Classic 50 was chosen to define this elegant timber surround.
Set level with the floorboards and framed by a single blue line, the pattern feels anchored and assured, as though it has always belonged.

We think the detail that accentuates the timber surround introduces a lovely contemporary touch.

In our studio, each tile is assembled by hand with carefully controlled spacing. Minimal grout lines give the surface and pattern a crisp artisanal character, a hallmark of heritage tiling.

When spring and summer arrive, gardens begin to flourish once again.

Victorian tiled pathways provide an enduring base of colour and pattern within a changing scheme, their crisp geometry offering both harmony and contrast against rich foliage and flowering borders of a front garden.

As planting grows fuller, soft forms and shifting colours play against the precision of the tiles.

It is this dialogue between living planting and enduring pattern that makes these tiled pathways so compelling.

A fire hearth reimagined, quietly at ease with its surroundings, by .
Theirs interiors bring together vintage finds, bespoke pieces and a thoughtful sense of balance.

Our blue and white chequerboard in a Classic 50 mm format was chosen to define to define its elegant timber surround. Set level with the floorboards and framed by a single blue line, the pattern feels anchored and assured, as though it has always belonged. We think the choice to subtly accentuate the inner timber surround introduces a contemporary edge that lifts the composition without disturbing its calm.

In our studio, each tile is assembled by hand with carefully controlled, fine spacing. Those slender joints give the surface a crisp, artisanal character, a subtle but telling hallmark of heritage tiling that brings quiet authenticity to the feature.

This is our Cornwall design, but with a twist.
By introducing small randomised pops of colour within a traditional geometric framework, a pattern can be lifted, adding elements of surprise and energy.

It’s a reminder that these floors are built tile by tile. Multiple components, carefully selected, each one able to be adjusted, substituted or accented. By changing a colour or introducing a contrast, the entire character of a design can shift without losing its integrity.

This is where our design studio’s work begins. We help translate ideas into considered variations, grounded in traditional principles. Through scaled drawings and clear visualisations, changes can be explored with confidence, refining a pattern until it feels personal, resolved and at ease within its setting.

Some floors don’t try to impress; they simply belong.

This Georgian-inspired scheme was created for , part of a thoughtful conversion transforming a 1930’s electricity substation into a refined Georgian-style lodge. Guided by a genuine love of antiques and classical interiors, the design focuses on proportion, restraint and calm. Our Norland tile pattern does the quiet work of organising the space, supporting the iron stair, joinery, and collected elements, so the interior feels settled, considered, and timeless.

A well-considered period-style tile floor becomes a permanent reference point within a home. It anchors architecture, adapts as spaces evolve, and continues to make sense long after tastes shift. These designs possess a subtle strength, never inflexible, always quietly authoritative. They ground today’s ambitions and will remain compelling as the years unfold.

If you’re planning a project and want to explore how a considered tile design can shape it, get in touch with our creative team. We’d love to help you explore the possibilities.

The bar area of the AtSloane hotel is an interior composed with confidence.
Moulded timber panelling, a coffered ceiling, and layered lighting are brought into order by a disciplined geometric floor.

Designed by François-Joseph Graf, the space draws on the language of Victorian mansions while maintaining a calm, contemporary composure. We helped bring this vision to life, creating over 500 square metres of bespoke geometric tilework throughout the hotel, working closely with the design team at every stage.

The geometric floor establishes structure within the space. Its measured pattern controls scale and alignment, giving clarity to the richly layered interior.
Installed by the skilled team at Mega Marble, the floor bears all the hallmarks of an original scheme that is confident, precise, and quietly luxurious.

We value working side by side with architects and designers, translating architectural language into floors that perform beautifully and endure, even in demanding commercial environments.

Light, from the very first glance.
The open doorway reveals a bathroom defined by brightness and calm, a space that lifts your spirits before you even step inside.

Light here isn’t incidental; it’s carefully considered and reflected throughout the space by the tiles and décor. The softness it brings feels clean and contemporary without losing its connection to tradition.

Our Norland geometric floor tile pattern provides structure and rhythm, defining the space while preserving the light and traditional themes.

Victorian splendour has been restored in this entrance hall.
As you cross the threshold, the doorway effect momentarily resets the mind, and it is here that thoughtful design becomes powerful. The geometry, colour and rhythm of the tiled pattern anchor the memory, creating an instant sense of home, safety and familiarity.

This period hallway has been sensitively revived using our Cornwall Victorian floor tile design. The combination of soft, traditional tones with the bold red joinery enhances the house's heritage character while bringing clarity and structure to the space. A strong example of how Victorian tiles can transform an entrance hall and preserve the story of a London home.

We craft our tile designs to feel as though they have always belonged.

In this reimagined and fully renovated home by and , every detail of the ground floor was carefully considered, with a clear vision to retain elegance throughout.

For the hall floor, our clients selected the Cornwall LM-493, a versatile favourite, paired with a dogtooth border and a subtle touch of pale green.

Traditional geometric tiles in an entry hall define the space with an engaging interplay of colour and pattern, complementing and enhancing the architectural details of a period setting.
