Corsham Court. Elizabethan bits, Lancelot Brown bath house, Nash dairy, Repton woodland and haha etc. My mother-in-law told me, maybe fifteen years ago, I needed to come here (she taught in the house) she was right (she usually is). Heavenly 💚

Villa Borromeo Visconti Litta - has a 1585 nymphaeum, with water jokes and pebble mosaics. Large fountains, big sprays and cheeky hidden jets, including a step that when your foot touches it shoots water up your legs. How much fun it would have been in your best wool and silk dress for a 16th century party I don't know.
