With a sharp zinc and glass loft with panoramic views toward dockside and the city, this scheme was permitted beyond the parameters of LB Lewisham’s Supplementary Planning Document on the back of careful and considered design.

We love a challenge as much as a contemporary take on traditional materials, but sadly the council disagrees. We’ll see what the inspector’s take is, but if you don’t try to effect change, everything stays the same.

NY win. Planning consent for large modern two storey rear extension to this end of terrace Victorian home. Owners had struggled to get consent for a number of years owing to its prominent location. By opting to be bold, we overcame the issues raised in a previous refusal and unsuccessful appeal (by others), and have allowed this young family to stay in the neighbourhood that they love so much.
