Our mixed-use, new build project located in Leyton, London is our latest project to receive planning, with consent granted in January.
The site located on a prominent corner, split into two halves (Site A and Site B) via the overground railway viaduct opposite Midland Road Overground Station. It was aquired with a consented planning scheme containing 25 residential units and 2 commercial units.
Following negotiations with neighbouring property owners, the client was able to secure additional land to the corner of site B (Coopers Lane & High Road) - this provided the opportunity to return to planning with a larger scheme.
The current scheme contains 48 residential units and 2 commercial units. Site A remains unchanged while Site B was redesigned to take advantage of a larger site and urban streetscape.
Care has been taken to retain the original planning application’s materiality and fenestration style.
